‘Caith Amach É’ show
On Monday last, our leaving cert and pre leaving students attended the ‘Caith Amach É’ show in the Halkswell theatre, Co. Sligo. This show was to help us with our Irish Oral Exam by actors acting out the Sraith Pictúir stories in a comedic fashion. There were 20 Sraith Pictúirí in total. The show gave the students the information needed about each Sraith Pictúir while also showing the fun and humorous side of each one. They used audience participation to help them in some acts as characters. These interactions with students really helped the audience engage with the learning of each Sraith Pictúir. Each student found the experience thoroughly enjoyable and a brilliant learning experience to help with their Irish Oral Exam.
